Hi, I’m Revita — a mother of two boys and the founder of KIDKIDO, a small children’s brand from Latvia.

The story of KIDKIDO began while I was expecting my second child. At the time, I did not know how to knit, but I decided to try making a tiny pair of baby socks. I watched videos, followed tutorials and gradually taught myself, one stitch at a time.

Soon, I began making baby hats, followed by little jackets knitted entirely by hand. I have always loved creating, and knitting became much more than a hobby for me. The quiet, repetitive work helped calm my mind and manage the symptoms of autonomic nervous system dysfunction. It gave me the opportunity to work independently in a peaceful environment while creating something meaningful with my hands.

As KIDKIDO grew, I began creating personalised clothing for babies and children. I started by embroidering children’s names onto sweaters by hand, making each piece personal and truly one of a kind.

Today, I continue to embroider many of our personalised sweaters by hand. I also use an embroidery machine to personalise baby bodysuits, blankets and other special pieces. The KIDKIDO collection also includes soft, hand-knitted baby booties made from carefully selected merino wool and alpaca yarns.

What began with one tiny pair of knitted socks has gradually grown into a brand loved by families in Latvia and beyond. KIDKIDO remains a small business, and behind every order is a real person who carefully prepares something special for your child.

My dream is for KIDKIDO to continue growing while preserving the same personal touch, care and meaning with which it began.
